Overview

Residential Care Subsidy NZ helps pay assessed long-term rest-home or hospital care costs, with payments made directly to the provider.

Eligibility points to check

Check care need, age, family circumstances, contracted services and applicable financial assessment. Younger applicants have different pathways; retirement age alone is insufficient.
